Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is currently two years through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The experienced forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the initial significant achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he earlier was, and would definitely think about lengthening his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
