19 of the Russian's 21 victories have been earned on hard courts
A resurgent Medvedev secured his initial championship for over two years with victory over Corentin Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
Medvedev, a former number one, has endured a difficult year, winning just a single victory at the major tournaments and experiencing a meltdown at the US Open.
Medvedev's varied form on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his service game in especial - led to him falling of the world's top 10 and eventually splitting with long-term mentor Gilles Cervara.
Currently collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently improved in the past month - climaxing in a tightly fought competitive triumph over Frenchman Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's maiden trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard surface since spring of that year.
Success also means the Russian has achieved twenty-one championships at twenty-one distinct competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a competition with my children at once, so to win a championship is particularly special," commented tennis professional Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my child her name, because the initial championship I got when my first daughter my daughter was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his previous six finals, featuring in Halle in the past months.
The player's retrieving strategy and regular reactions on the playing surface had caused commentators to question if his capacity to perform at the elite level was over.
But the player has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to approach the net and play positively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
He came back from a deficit in the opening set against the challenging opponent, winning four of the concluding five points to go ahead.
The competitors exchanged service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, striving for his maiden ATP Tour victory, seized the initiative to force a third set.
Moutet rescued four early-game chances in a competitive final set before the champion won the break to 15 to close out the victory.
Appropriately, the winner secured victory with a point at the net, with the Frenchman incapable to handle a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
